Clarke Quay!!

Yeah!! The E24D Peeps. From left clockwise direction, Angus aka many nicks..., Sandy (Haha, my sister), Randy (that's me...diao), Kevin, Louis and Poh Hong aka Pro Hong...

Clarke Quay!! HAHA!! = )

Hmm, actually first time going out with my E24D peeps to Clarke Quay. After school, I went home and later went to Central to look for them. Bit paiseh la, they have to wait for me @ food court and makan dinner. After dinner, walk walk then TCC. HAHA!! We took a nicey pic and drank coffee. I ordered Azuki Coffee Cooler which is kopi, cream la plus red bean...nicey tasty!!

Hmm, after that we went our separate ways liao...sobby. Angus, Poh Hong and Kevin took the NEL towards Punggol. Sandy went to St James and Louis and I went back home via Outram Park.

Talk about today's module la...service quality. Its about a event which is facing declining number of participants and how are we going to advise the organisers...diao la...luckily I got 2 seniors in my team, Abby and Christabel.

That Christabel la, always make fun of me today...HAHA...I won't take into my heart de la..

Few more hours later, I am off to work @ PC Show at Suntec City Convention Centre Hall 601. This time working for Compaq again loh. But this time round got Dennis and Kah Hwee. Friends around, not easily bored but still, when it comes to work, everyone has to fight la!! (but still must provide good customer service, help each other whenever ones meet problems...emm..)

Today after lesson while I was getting Zhuang Jiao full series from Choon Hua, Lee Lian called. Somehow it is an encouragement call. When I told her I was working for PC Show, she was like how come everytime I work la, pay so little though I put in so much effort. I told her, got job good liao. She say, I must be smart to find a better job.

Actually, thought of it. Yah, pay bit little but nevertheless, every time I work, it gives me a different experience.

And what Wei Ann told me is correct, don't mind the pay. Work hard and you deserve what you get. Most important is the experience gained. So..this time round, I must work doubly hard and gain a fruitful experience...hehe = )

Hmm, actually sometimes humans do make mistakes...I was thinking today, whether did I make mistake choosing my elective. I do admit, I got the feeling to drop, but 7 weeks le, how sia?

Looking forward for my limited edition S.H.E play album cover...too bad I can't go, asked Chai Lei to help me take...

Between scenarios...

Between....?

To work during the holiday (6 days as those roadshow promoter) and earn money, also to gain some working experience.

Or?

To go holiday with family members to Penang where you can visit your relatives and relax.

I am now in this scenario. Frankly speaking, I wanted to work because I want to save money for 2009 Tozan (trip to Taiseikiji in Japan) as time is running out already.

But it has been a year plus since I last went overseas. And for the past 1 year plus my father has been making trip to Malaysia by his own.

Somehow, the roadshow job is likely to be confirm but still don't know is 100 percent confirm or not. But why so co-incidental? The job is from 4-10 Jun whilst my father took leave from 4-11 Jun.

And today, I was "suan" by my sister of saying I want to work. And guess what, when I was using my laptop, she purposely "suan" in front of my younger sister.

How she "suan", it begins with saying my aunt wanting to look for someone to work temp at her company warehouse. But she reject saying my father wanted to bring us for holiday and also her church camp. Then she purposely say, someone la just want to work, only think of money.

Damn it...bitchy attitude. I wanted to throw things at her but I just control myself...

Seriously, I really don't know which choice should I choose. Work vs Holiday....

Friday, I went to training for PC Show promoter job with Kah Hwee and Dennis. This time round, selling Compaq laptops and desktops. As Kah Hwee and Dennis are newbies, I guess I got the responsibility to teach them a bit though. Anyway there are 2 or 3 more other promoters. So, 1 booth with 6 promoters fighting to get customers. Not only that, we have to fight with other booths and other brands promoters. This is call, intense competition.

What I learnt after working for the past 2 shows, always provide customers with good service. This time round, I must remind myself, I must do my best!!

Hmm, friday's lesson was bit diao la. Story telling again. This time round is using voice to tell a folk story. My team only got Cheryl and Khai. Though we met technical glitches during presentation, we still manage to present smoothly. Phew!!

Looking at fellow friends blog, they seem to be either happy or dissapointed with UT result. Me la? I should say...okay la but I got E grade for History of the Arts UT. Sian la...E lei..how???

Blah...hmm...ltr must wake up early go PC for student activity. I don't want to miss anymore..

I think I shall end here though. Anyway, always have Keep Fighting spirit in you!! = )

Keep Going

Keep going even when failures falls upon you.

Past 1 week, failures or maybe bad luck falls upon me. From failing Final Theory Test for the 2nd time to losing money at 4D. Things are getting bit unlucky.

But nevertheless, problem statement in school makes me feel like coming to school and learnt more.

From learning "camera never lies" where I have the chance to use DSLR camera to take pictures, presenting my best artwork till using just sound to create a story, STA modules indeed makes me not bored, but fun!!

Guess, I never regret transfering to STA. But still I miss SIT a lot...diao me....

Hmm, I guess I got nothing much to say for today but a word to everyone, Keep Fighting!! = )

Ba Gua

Ba Gua?

Not the BBQ pork, but

The 八卦; bā guà (literally "eight symbols") is a fundamental philosophical concept in ancient China. It is generally represented with an octagonal diagram with one trigram on each side. The concept of bagua is applied not only to Chinese Taoist thought and the I Ching, but is also used in other domains of Chinese culture, such as fengshui, martial arts and navigation.

Basically, today, my creative concept lesson plays around with ba gua. And...

Create an artwork that evokes a similar emotion to what you felt when looking at the artwork assigned to your team (in the pre-trigger). Allow the ba gua to make some of the decisions about the work for you.

My team's emotion is love and we really think so crazy, end up we came out with an idea...

Hmm, I think so far, this is the most creative thing I did for a lesson!! Hehe!! Hoorays to my team, Jarrett, Hui Min, Sharina and Shikin..

Actually, for the past 2 days, things happening around me really told me...

I should appreciate that I am living in this world.

As you guys know, a woman was dead after got hit by a fallen tree at Bt Batok Nature Park. Today, I saw a dead body at Bt Batok Central on the way to school. I was inside the bus when I saw a dead body. It was indeed scary yet makes me think that life is fragile. You can never know your last day.

Then yesterday, I was having a bad back ache. I realise the pain I suffered cannot be compared with someone who is suffering from long term illness.

Sometimes, I also feel that my chest is pain...

Are my days numbering? I don't know....

But I told myself, even I should die anytime, I would want to see....

My family members chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, believe in Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism.

Hope to see Pei Han living happily...and hope to see my friends live happily.

In this way, I can leave happily....

Okay, I guess, now I am worried is, PP la!! How???

It's been a roller coaster...

Roller coaster....

Life is like a roller coaster...Anyway I am not really talking about the song by Ronan Keating.

Just these few days, things getting bit cuckoo. I got frenzy over, S.H.E!! Hehe = )

Anyway I got my copy liao, but la I bit regret take the notepad free gift...

Nvm...notepad la, functional....

Problem statement for today, Student Pride and have to come up with 5 visual art to represent it.

Hmm...and I got my team change. Miss the table, but I found a new S.H.E fan lei, Xiang Han.

HAHA...whole day we were saying abt S.H.E...YEAH!! S.H.E rocks!! = )

Anyway, my team member got Sandy (my sister la...), a Vietnamese Guy (gosh i dunno his name) and Poh Hong...

It is damn fun team la, Viet guy likes to play Halo, Battlefield. Sandy la, always crapping. Poh Hong wif her CO2 for 3 bucks...

Diao loh...but our ppt chin chye do..dunno wat Song Ming will think la...

UT la. I had my 1st UT on creative concepts...kills me...

ARRRGH!!

Tml is tat DMA faci lesson again...make sure he will have a taste of Keep Fighting spirit from me...I will fight wif him till the end...

Toss him, flip him, squeeze him...damn XXXXer...

Quiet?

For 10th May...

Suddenly, thought of being quiet all by myself.....

Hmm...I guess Keep Fighting journey came to a point where I have to fight so much enemies...

Got a D for DMA module because I am late. But one thing I don't like about my faci is...he like look down on my team man.....damned....Below is his comment to my team and me myself.

Comments for Team:I was, once again, quite disappointed that you were late for 3rd meeting. I know time is tight in STA modules, and often you have a lot to do. However, you really, really need to learn to manage your time and set yourselves milestones so that you can make sure that you don’t fall behind and make yourselves late. All of the creative industries suffer from tight deadlines and clients who change their mind at the last minute. What you have to do is to learn to work with that and make sure that you hit your deadlines. Being late is a cardinal sin in this area… I was interested to see that you used a forum for your collaborative effort, but I was more than a little worried that you hadn’t really used it in a collaborative way. Ask yourselves:Was it efficient to use a single person to create all the forums?Would it have been better to have your discussions on the forum rather than elsewhere?How could you have shown your collaboration more clearly?There are two areas that need some serious thought and some serious work too. 1. There was no attribution for the content that you took from elsewhere and the links to the research that you did. This, as I said after class, is not acceptable. You should never have the majority of your work as content that is taken from elsewhere. I can’t judge your understanding of the topic if all I can see is cut-and-paste, and you should NEVER steal other people’s work. If you do take some of the content for your presentation from elsewhere then you should ALWAYS credit the source. 2. Your presentation. As Varian noted, the presentation is your chance to show off. You need to put aside some time to organise yourselves so that when you do stand up to present you look good. Presentation skills are essential.I would tend to grade this presentation as a C, so please try to do better next week.

Comments for Individual:Please read the team comments this week. I think that they say most of what applies to you... Especially the time-keeping bit. You were late for 1st and 3rd meeting and this really needs to be something that you work on. Not only does being late for class show a lack of respect for me, but it also compromises your team's work.

Anyway, now to me, the faci is like a piece of dough. I will use roti prata style to stretch him till siao....

Keep Fighting spirit...must always be there...= )

HAHA....now I should tell myself, enemies there to obstruct me, I should be brave, fight with them...

Hehe, tml S.H.E album come out liao...but likely 12th then can get my copy, NVM!!

Anyway, today's Creative Concepts module, change team liao. No more all mens..

So end up, I am in Team 4 with Daniel, Thilina, Jocelyn and Li Qin.

Problem statement trigger ask us to take personality test.

Problem statement:Depict a stressful, real-life scenario with each person in the team playing a different character type (but not their own), such that we, the audience, will be able to figure out which type is being portrayed by each team member.

End up we come up with a comic style video...faci like our ideas...hehe!! = )

At least that's an encouragement. But I didn't do much la, sorry lei Team 4...

Hmm, gotta pack up soon, JE library closing...

Back to home, gongyo, bath, sleep...

Hehe...=)

Hehe =) Tank came to Singapore last weekend. Hmm, I went to attend his autograph session @ Jurong Entertainment Centre last Sat and also attended his campus concert @ TRCC on Monday!! The concert is a good one and he sang all his songs with his heart. I should say, his singing is superb. I guess he can be the next Jay Chou = )

A girl is so lucky that she can hold hand with Tank and sing 非你莫屬.

After the concert, there is a autograph session. A lot of people bought the CD and queue up....

For the past 1 week, things do get bit stressed. Weird problem statements, questions asked by my Facis really makes me cuckoo...

But no matter what, life still goes on even though it is simply too complex...

I guess, one thing I can do, Keep Fighting = )

Holiday Mood

Holiday Mood? I guess everyone is having...

My class was like, damn little people. But later as more people comes in, total attendance 14.

And I was in the Xiao Zha Boh team loh...diao...those gals realli siao one de loh....

Today's topic about budgeting and we like machiam discuss so much but end up only do a little budget for presenting.

Hehe, let me count la, 5 days to Tank's concert @ RP!! Yeah!! = )

Monday, I was at Agora at 1130 but there's already damn lotsa of people. Slowly I saw Wai Fern, Dennis, Shawny, Calvin, Jeryln. Then I call Elaine, Lesly and Xue Ying down...

Hehe...luckily we all managed to get the tickets!!
